Sardar Patel International School Celebrates Janmashtmi with Piety and Geity.
Sardar Patel International School campus was abuzz with excitement as students, teachers, and other staff gathered to celebrate the auspicious occasion of Janmashtmi, the birth anniversary of Lord Krishna. The event commenced with a reverent worship of Lord Krishna, followed by a mesmerizing Ras dance performance, songs and bajana, "Hare Krishna, Govind , Hare Murari, that left the audience spellbound.
The highlight of the event was the Matki phod ceremony, which was performed by the students of V-VII, with great enthusiasm and energy. The students showcased their skills and agility, reminiscent of the mischievous Lord Krishna's feats.
Dr. Rekha Parashar along with a student Krishna Kumawat IX, enlightened the audience with Lord Krishna's teachings. Mr. Rajesh Rathore, principal graced the occasion, emphasizing the significance of the day. Quoting from the Bhagavad Gita, Chapter 4, Verse 7, "Yada yada hi dharmasya glanir bhavati bharata, abhyutthanam adharmasya tadatmanam srjiamy aham" ("Whenever there is a decline in dharma, I incarnate to restore it").
The event concluded with the distribution of prasadam, symbolizing the sharing of joy and blessings. As the students dispersed, they carried with them the message of love, compassion, and selfless service, inspired by the life and teachings of Lord Krishna.
In the words of the Bhagavad Gita, Chapter 18, Verse 66, "Sarva-dharman paritranaya mam ekam saranam vraja, aham tvam sarva-papebhyo, the students and staff of Sardar Patel International School sought the blessings of Lord Krishna on this auspicious day.
